I have said before that disaster movies crack me up. We were watching The Day After Tomorrow in science, and when the main character said that if anyone went outside, the storm would kill them, I couldn’t stop laughing. They were treating forces of nature like serial killers. So that caused me to envision the storms and natural disasters of these movies as axe murderers.
These are the three storm systems from The Day After Tomorrow, personified as dangerously unstable triplets, bent on freezing all of humanity except for Jake Gyllenhal and the people closest to him. Because…family.
